Major Bird's Brandy Punch

  • 3 Cup VSOP Cognac +
  • Cup Funky Jamaican Rum +
  • 4 Lemon +
  • Cup Raw Sugar +
  • 2 Quart Cool Water +
  • Grated Nutmeg +

    Multi-Step (see Special Direx), then serve Neat in a Punch Cup


    Notes: first peel the zest of the lemons leaving the pith behind, then muddle with the sugar to prepare the oleo-saccharum base. Let oleo-saccharum cure in fridge, then add juice of the lemons (about 8 oz), 2 quarts cool water & grated nutmeg. When ready to serve, pour in bowl with as large of a block of ice as you can construct (I'm currently trying freezing simple 2 cup plastic containers from the grocery store).
